How We Crumbled Cinna-Maple Crunch Granola

The ultimate challenge for a recipe innovator is to recreate nostalgia. Think of all the “dupe” recipes you see trending on TikTok and Pinterest and whatnot – or the times you’ve tried to remake or rebake your grandma’s secret recipe.

 

This time around, our granola innovation team set themselves a lofty goal: make a granola that tastes like a cinnamon bun. Sure, granola is crunchy while cinnamon buns are soft, but there simply had to be a way to recreate the greatness of a warm cinnamon bun on a crisp winter morning.

 

Starting with a simple "maple cinnamon" flavor (and real maple syrup, by the way) our granola innovators fine-tuned a mystical maple sweetness with mouthwatering cinnamon-ality. Then, one particularly perspicacious chef added the true grace note of the entire granola tasting symphony: the white chip.

  

These dairy-free white chips recreate the creamy icing that, let’s be honest, is actually the greatest part of any homemade cinnamon bun experience. The entire, fresh-baked granola mix has a whipped cream flavor while remaining totally dairy free. And gluten-free. And fake-stuff-free.

 

It’s all the comforting, cozy aroma of a fresh-baked cinnamon bun, without all the ingredients that make you feel less-than-stellar. And there’s, like, 1000 bites in every bag.
