Energy Bites Recipe featuring Cran-Maple Crunch

Fuel Your Day with No-Bake Granola Energy Bites

As the winter season draws nearer and the days grow shorter, it’s safe to say we’re all in

need of an easy way to naturally boost our energy. While you may simply be reaching for your coffee mug more than usual, what if we said there’s a more nutritionally expeditious way to fortify your mind and spirit?

Well, thank your lucky crumbles, because fresh from the granolaboratory, we’ve whipped up a recipe for no-bake, Cran-Maple Crunch granola energy bites!

With a handful of popular pantry ingredients, these energy bites satisfy those crunch-time cravings. With a little help from Uncle Crumbles Cran-Maple Crunch granola—featuring real maple syrup, tart dried cranberries, crunchy almonds, and whole grain clusters made of corn cups and rice crisps—this gluten-free granola is crafted to crumbly perfection.

Simply combine 1 cup Cran-Maple Crunch granola with 1/3 cup creamy almond butter (or nut/seed butter of your choosing) and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. If you’re feeling a little extra, Uncle Crumbles encourages you to toss 1 tablespoon of dark chocolate chips in the mix.

After mixing all ingredients together, use a 1.5 tablespoon scoop to create each bite, taking the time to roll the scoops in your hands to make a perfect, bite-size sphere of energy. Portion these spheres out on a small cookie sheet as you go, and pop them in the freezer for roughly two hours to let the healthy fats partially solidify—creating chewy perfection. Your only responsibility as a Crumblehead is to now enjoy and save the leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer!

When you’re feeling the need for a quick boost, take a few out to thaw for 5–10 minutes, and you’re cooking (or not cooking, rather) with granola!

Uncle Crumbles encourages you to try this with any of our other delicious, all-natural granola flavors for a pick-me-up at any time of day. Until next time, stay crumbly, friends.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup creamy almond butter (or your favorite nut/seed butter)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips (optional)

How to Make:

  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl until well mixed
  • Use a 1.5 tablespoon scoop to portion out granola energy bites, making sure ingredients are tightly packed before placing on cookie sheet.
  • Freeze for two hours and enjoy!
  • Reminder: The next time you grab an energy bite, thaw for 5-10 minutes before consuming.
